Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 17, 2026
Alpha Discovery is a preschool educational app created by LIISGO LLC ("Alpha Discovery," "we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when children and families use the Alpha Discovery mobile app, website, support pages, learning games, printables, and related services.
Alpha Discovery is designed for families and young children. We do not require children to create accounts, post content, use chat, or provide contact information.
1. Information We Do Not Ask Children For
The app does not ask children to provide a name, email address, phone number, home address, photos, videos, voice recordings, precise location, school information, or social profile. Children can use the learning activities without registering an account.
2. Information Stored on the Device
Alpha Discovery may store simple preferences locally on the device, such as music volume, sound effects volume, theme, language setting, game progress, earned stars, and app display preferences. These settings help the app remember how the family likes to use it. Local settings are generally removed when the app is deleted or the device storage is cleared.
3. Parent Printables and Child Names
The Parent Printables feature may allow a grown-up to type a child's name into a birthday certificate or printable template. The app uses that name only to render the printable on the device. Printing or sharing is protected by a grown-up gate and uses the device's share or print tools. We do not require the child name to be uploaded to us.
4. Feedback and Support
If a parent or grown-up contacts us by email, we may receive the information included in that message, such as an email address, message content, device details, app version, and troubleshooting information. We use support messages to respond to questions, fix bugs, improve the app, and keep records of support requests.
5. Ads and Kids Mode
Version 1.0.84 and later do not include third-party ads on iPhone, iPad, or Android. Those versions do not request the Android advertising ID or Android AdServices advertising permissions, include Firebase Analytics, or send learning taps, screen visits, or game progress to a separate usage analytics service. The older Android version 1.0.58 remains publicly available on Google Play until it is replaced. That version includes Google Mobile Ads banners and Firebase Analytics. Those services can process the advertising ID, approximate location inferred from an IP address, app interactions, and diagnostic or performance information for advertising, measurement, and abuse prevention. The Google Play Data safety disclosure covers both the older public version and newer test versions while both are distributed.
6. Purchases and Subscriptions
Optional Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive payment-card details. The app sends a store purchase token or signed transaction, product identifier and app identifier over HTTPS to a LIISGO LLC verification service. That service checks the transaction with the relevant store and returns subscription status and expiration so the app can grant or restore Pro access. This does not require a child account, name, date of birth or child contact information.
A purchase proof may remain on the device so the app can recheck access. The verification service does not use purchase proofs for advertising or build child profiles. Store purchase records remain subject to the store's retention and privacy practices. The service uses an IP address in memory for a short rate-limit check. Its cloud provider also keeps request logs, which can include an IP address, device browser information, request time, response status and timing, for service security and troubleshooting. These logs currently expire after about 30 days. The service does not put raw purchase proofs in application logs.
7. Third-Party Services
Alpha Discovery may use the following services:
- Apple App Store for iOS app distribution and purchases.
- Google Play for Android app distribution and purchases.
- Google Mobile Ads and Firebase Analytics in the older Android public version 1.0.58, until that version is replaced.
- GitHub-hosted configuration for app update notices.
- Device email, share, and print tools when a grown-up chooses to use them.
Network services receive connection information such as IP addresses and request times, even without a child account. Third-party services may process information under their own privacy policies. We configure these services in a child-conscious way where the platform allows it.
8. How We Use Information
- To operate the app and remember local preferences.
- To provide parent-controlled sharing, printing, and feedback.
- To support purchases, subscriptions, and restoration of purchases.
- To troubleshoot problems reported by grown-ups and operate the services described above.
- To comply with app store rules, legal obligations, and child-safety requirements.
9. What We Do Not Do
- We do not require children to create accounts.
- We do not knowingly collect direct contact information from children.
- We do not allow public profiles, open chat, or child-to-child messaging.
- We do not sell children's personal information.
- We do not use child data for behavioral advertising.
10. Legal Bases and Parent Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit certain information. Parents may contact us to ask privacy questions, request deletion of support emails or related records, or ask how the app handles child-directed settings. We will respond as required by applicable law.
11. Data Retention
Local settings remain on the device until changed, reset, or deleted. Support emails may be kept as long as needed to respond, maintain business records, resolve disputes, improve the app, and comply with legal obligations. Purchase records are primarily handled by Apple or Google according to their policies.
12. Security
We use reasonable measures designed to protect information we handle. No app, website, email system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
13. International Users
If you use Alpha Discovery outside the United States, information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the app, you understand that privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Alpha Discovery changes, as laws change, or as app store requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with the effective date.
15. Contact Us
Parents can contact us at sales@liisgo.com for privacy, support, or child-safety questions.
